St Patrick's Day 2014

I was set on making St Patrick's Day really fun this year.  We started the day by going to a bouncy house place which we always enjoy.  When we got home, we made and decorated shamrock cookies (I still remember Aunt Judy taking them when she visited our elementary classes and talked about Ireland!).  I was feeling pretty exhausted by this point but we finished with one more craft of making shamrocks using a green pepper cut in half as a stamp. 
All in all, a great day!

Hamilton

A few weeks ago we took a trip to Hamilton to visit Granddaddy and Grandma Karleen. The weather was beautiful so we were happy to spend a majority of our time exploring the family farm.

Molly is 5 and it's a zoo

A petting zoo that is!  To celebrate Molly's fifth birthday, we had a petting zoo complete with a pig, a goat, baby bunnies, chicks, ducks, and a miniature horse!  All of the kids enjoyed petting the animals and riding the horse.  Molly said it was "the best day ever" so I count that a successful party!
We were happy Grandpa Dennis and Grandma Jane were able to come to the party along with about 8 of Molly's friends plus their siblings! 

Paul and I are very proud parents to this sweet little girl.  We are so blessed that we have a daughter who is strong minded, helpful, wise, eager to learn, loves Jesus, loves to learn, and loves her family.  She is a special girl!!

Daddy-Daughter Celebration

We had a small birthday celebration for Paul and Molly together.  We enjoyed lunch and cake with Granny, Grandpa Tom, Aunt Cathy, and Cassie.

Paul celebrated a milestone birthday at the end of January.  We were happy to shower him with lots of hugs:
