Port Aransas
We took a family vacation to the Texas coast the beginning of July. We were again joined by Grandpa Dennis, Grandma Jane, Uncle Darren, Brooklynn, Julia, and Hallie. We had a fun time and enjoyed many hours of sun.
Vacation Bible School
This summer Molly and Johnny attended two bible schools, one at our parish and one where they went to preschool. They had a lot of fun at both and I love seeing their excitement for learning about God!
Samuel is still too little but he did help me volunteer in the nursery.

Molly's 5 year stats
Molly had her 5 year check up a few months ago but I haven't posted her stats. Every year her doctor comments that she will likely not be very big as she is petite; then he looks at me and says it's expected! I just hope we can make it to 40 lbs soon so we can move to the cheaper and easier booster seats.
Weight - 36lbs (16th percentile)
Height - 106cm (21st percentile)
BMI - 30%

Molly graduates preschool
Molly had a sweet little preschool graduation complete with a ceremony, cap, gown, and cake. Her class sang a couple songs, they each received a diploma from their teacher, and finished with a slide show of the year. After the ceremony they had a reception with cake.
We have surely enjoyed Molly's time at Westside Church of Christ Preschool and we will miss all the sweet people there.
We had Molly's end-of-year conference and her and her teacher said she is more then prepared for kindergarten. We are very proud of Molly. She is a bright little girl who loves to learn and we have no doubt she has a bright future ahead of her.

Mother's Day
We or rather, I enjoyed Mother's Day weekend. I was able to shop for a few hours on Saturday, without kids! On Mother's Day we went out to a nice brunch, visited Granny, and had a relaxing afternoon.
Two wheels
I am a little behind on our family's current events. Nearly a month ago Molly and Johnny learned how to ride bikes without training wheels! Molly has been asking for a while to take off her training wheels. We figured since she was doing it we might as well let Johnny try and we were pleased with his quick success. After a little instruction from mom and dad and a few tries of getting balanced, both Molly and Johnny has a pretty good handle on riding on two wheels!
We ended our park adventure with a little tree climbing and a walk in the water.
