Easter 2014

We had a fun Easter weekend.  Grandma Jane and Grandpa Dennis came for a visit and to help out with the kids.  Saturday afternoon we dyed eggs.
We had a full day on Easter starting with 8:30 mass!  Good thing we had Easter baskets to lure the kids out of bed.

Samuel was a big fan of the tootsie pops!

The neighbor kids, Brooks and Kennedy with Molly, Johnny, and Samuel after finding all the eggs.

We spent a lot of time outdoors, the weather was beautiful!  Above, we were trying to teach the kids how to jump rope. . . it is a work in progress.

Samuel - 18 month stats

Samuel had his 18 month check up and all was well.
His current stats:
Weight - 23 lbs 3 oz (34-35th percentile)
Height - 31.5" (17th percentile)

Samuel's is a sweet little boy who loves to have books read to him, loves his brother and sister, and loves to play outside.  His favorite things to play are catch or splash in the water.
Currently he signs a handful of words and tries to say mom, dad, Molly, Johnny, ball, rock, bird, a few more words and a lot of things are lumped into being called "mah".  He also has a signature scream we liked to call the "Johnny alarm" because it is his best defense against his sometimes overly loving big brother!

Date with dad

The kids' preschool had "date with dad" night.  The kids were very excited, here they are anxiously waiting for daddy to finish work.

Bluebonnets

It is basically a tradition in Texas to take pictures in the bluebonnets every spring.  Today I attempted a quick photo shoot with the  kids.  Since it was just me, it was a little difficult to try and get them to pose together, so enjoy the candid shots!
