Johnny time

Johnny and I have been able to spend a few mornings together while Molly is at preschool.  Often times I have errands but this past Tuesday I decided to take Johnny to the park and to story time.  I was glad we had some one-on-one time before baby number 3 arrives.

Flower girl

Paul's best friend got married last night and Molly was honored to be the flower girl.  She did a great job and the kids had a wonderful time at the reception, dancing until midnight!  Congratulations to Mark and Kelly and thanks for a great night.

Gymnastics

Molly has been asking to be in gymnastics.  I was a little reluctant to start my 3 1/2 year old in gymnastics as I don't want to be hard-core at this age.  I finally decided to put her in a class at the YMCA.  She had her first class last week and absolutely LOVED it.  I had to work so our nanny had to take her.  She said Molly was so excited they had to go a half hour early.  I have always worried that Molly was going to be super shy like I was as a child but she was eager to be line leader and followed directions well.  You can tell by the pictures how excited she was and has been ready to go back everyday since!

Johnny had to watch patiently outside. He has been bouncing around at home saying his is doing "gymnastics" too!

Preschool

Today was Molly's first day of preschool.  She is going on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-1:15 at a church very close to the house.  I had to choose convenience with baby number 3 coming very soon.  I was a little nervous and sad to leave her but Molly sat right down and started coloring.  She had nothing but good things to report when I picked her up so hopefully everyday will go this smoothly!

Meet the teacher

We had "meet the teacher" today at Molly's preschool.  She spent about 45 minutes in her classroom while I went to the parent orientation.  She seemed to like it and asked to go again tomorrow.  I will have more pictures on Thursday, her real "first day" but she looked too cute not to post this.

Labor Day Weekend

On Saturday we decided to take the boat out to Lake Georgetown.  We figured our usually hesitant Molly would shy away from the water but she got right in and really enjoyed herself.  Johnny was really tired so only swam a short while.  We finished our trip with a little picnic on the boat.  It was a fun Roberts Family Outing!

For my personal record, I'm 35 weeks here!
